Bedford freshman baseball split a doubleheader with Anthony Wayne losing the first game 8-1 and winning the second game 10-9.
Kason Snyder took the loss on the mound in the first game. Snyder, Malakai Gorczyca, Gavin Roytek and Connor Orth each had a hit.
Down 9-2 in the second game in the bottom of the 4th inning Bedford scored 8 runs to take the lead led by Hudson Heams’ grand slam. Brett McGraw was 2-3 with 2 singles, 1 run and an RBI. Connor Orth pitched well with Malakai Gorczyca coming in relief to earn the victory.
