Bedford freshman baseball split a doubleheader Saturday against the Eagles of Clay winning the first game 10-2 and losing the second game 7-4.
Connor Orth pitched very well picking up the win in the first game while striking out 6. Payton Sheaves went 2-4 with 2 singles and 2 RBI’s. Hudson Heams was 3-4 with 3 singles, 1 run and 2 RBI’s.
Brett McGraw took the loss in the second game. McGraw was 1-2 at the plate with a single, 2 runs and 1 BB. Heams went 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 RBI’s.
