Varsity Golf led by Mulder at SEC Championships

The Bedford Girls golf team finished their SEC season on Monday at the SEC Championship held at Eagle Crest in Ypsilanti.
The team finished in 4th place in the RED division with a 9 - 4 record for the year. The girls shot a team total 401 to finish 6th at the tournament.
Emma Mulder finished 8th overall for the day and came in first place in match points won in the SEC red with 184.5. This capped Emma's season as she was the low scorer for almost all of the SEC matches.

Sami Hoogendoorn finished the year in 9th place with 137.5 match points won.
Madison Shalhoup finished in 19th place with 104 points.
Lauren Csurgo finished 20th with 94 points. Lauren's season was cut short as she missed the last two matches with an injury.
Sophomore Morgan Decker finished the season with 85 points to come in 25th place in the Red division.
The girls will next prepare for the Monroe County Championship and Regionals to finish off their season.
