Bedford's freshman volleyball team took first today at the John Glenn invitational and had a record of 5-0-1 for the day. Scores were:
Ladywood: 25-14, 21-25
Harrison: 25-15, 25-23
Plymouth: 25-20, 25-14
South Lyon East: 25-12, 25-17
Churchill: 25-10, 25-12
Plymouth: 24-26, 25-23, 15-11
Bedford had 85 kills led by Kylie Schroeder with 22 and Kerragan Gandee with 18. Defensively, the mules were led by Kylie Schroeder who had 28 of Bedford's 148 digs, followed by Karsyn Wolf with 20 and Becca Crawford with 19. Bedford's freshman overall record is now 36-10-1.
