Bedford Junior High School Girls Track Team took first
place at a triangular meet at Washington. Washington took third place with a score
of 17, Eisenhower was second with a score of 50 and Bedford was first with a score
of 89. Madison Carter broke the junior high school long jump record by 1'1"
with a jump of 17'0". Other first place finishers included; Kelsey Calhoun
in the 1600M, the 4X100 relay team of Madison Carter, Alyssa Huff, Hannah Martin
and Ellen Hayes, Kelsey Calhoun in the high jump, Kelsey Menzel in the 400 M,
the Bedford 4X200 relay team of Alyssa Huff, Hannah Martin, Alexa Roach and Alexa
Beale, Sam Schott in the pole vault, Ellen Hayes in the 200M hurdles, Sam Pavlika
in the discus and shot put, Anne Redd in the 800M and the Bedford 4X400M relay

Whitmer Panther Relays
Congratulations to the girls track and field team
on an awesome TEAM effort to bring home a win Friday night at the Panther Relays.
A new meet record was set by the Bedford Girls in the Discus Relay with
a total throw of 224' 3". Relay members included Sam Pavlika, Amanda Swisher,
and Jessica Howard. The Bedford Girls Shot Put Relay also set a new meet
record with a throwing total of 82' 6". Relay members included Sam Pavlika,
Rachael Palicki and Amanda Swisher. Other first place finishes for the night included;
The Long Jump Relay team of Madison Carter, Alyssa Huff and Alexa Roach. They
jumped a total of 40' 10", the 4 X 800 Relay Team of Chloe Rick, Anne Redd,
Emily Holmes, and Kelsey Calhoun with a time of 10:43.3, and the Distance Medley
team of Anne Redd, Kourtney Osentoski, Alexa Roach and Kelsey Calhoun with a time
of 10:52.9. Congratulations

Bedford Invitational
The Bedford Junior High School Girls Track Team won
the Invitational they hosted on Friday night. Saline took second place. Other
teams competing included Adrian, Ida, Lincoln, Timberstone and Washington.
First place finishers
for Bedford included the Pole Vault team of Sam Schott, Kaylee Bloom and Ellen
Hays with a total vault of 20'; 6", the Shot Put team of Sam Pavlika, Rachel
Palicki and Amanda Swisher with a total put of 108' 4 ½", the Long
Jump team of Madison Carter, Alyssa Huff and Alexa Roach with a total jump of
41' 3", the Distance Medley team of Kelsey Menzel, Anne Redd, Emily Holmes,
and Kelsey Calhoun with a time of 12:40.6, the Sprint Medley team of Madison Carter,
Alexa Roach, Kourtney Osentoski and Jenna Durbin with a time of 3:24.7, and Kelsey
Calhoun in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 5:41.5.
The Shuttle Hurdle
team of Kourtney Osentoski, Courtney Davis, Emily Holmes and Ellen Hays took second
place with a time of 1:18.2. In Third Place was Lauren Bules in the 1600 Meter
Run with a time of 6:21.2, The 4 X 100 Meter Relay team of Alyssa Huff, Kaylee
Bloom, Ellen Hays and Madison Carter with a time of 56.4, the 2 X 200 Meter Relay
team of Alexa Roach, Ashley Walander, Kaylee Bloom and Alyssa Huff, the 4 X400
Meter Relay team of Chloe Rick, Rachael Palicki, Kelsey Menzel, and Anne Redd
with a time 4:39.8 and the High Jump team of Ashley Walander, Kelsey Calhoun and
Hannah McBride with a total jump of 12' 3". Ashley Walander took sixth place

The Bedford Junior
High School Girls Track Team defeated Lincoln last night by a score of 84.5 to
43.5 in their final meet of the season. The final team record for the year was
9 and 0. This is the second year in a row the Girls Track Team has gone undefeated!
Ellen Hays took first place while setting a New School Record in the Pole Vault
with a vault of 8' 3"and Kelsey Menzel took first place in the 400 Meter
Dash while she set a New School Record with a time of 1:03.1. Other first place
finishers included: Ellen Hays in the 55 Meter Hurdles with a time of 9.53; Anne
Redd in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:32.23; Hanna Martin in the 1600 Meter
Run with a time of 6:06; Madison Carter in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 28.0
and the Long Jump with a jump of 16'; Sam Pavlika in the Shot Put with a put of
