Bedford 51 Saline 135
The score however does not reflect the 75% plus seasonal and personal bests last night. It is amazing what people will do for an extra 15 minutes of sleep in the morning. The deal that was made before the meet was that if 75% of the swims were bests, then morning practice would start 15 minutes late this morning. I am happy to say that we started practice late today!
200 Medley Relay- 2nd Julia Ferreira, Shannon Heasley, Kirstin Stark and Katelyn Jones- Getting closer to state cut.
50 Free- Kirstin Stark- 1st and state qualification
Diving- Cheyenne Cousineau- 1st and new pool record.

500 Free was a super event for us as far as personal bests. All the girls hit the times that they were striving for for the end of season. I guess we will have to set new goals.- Jessica Sutter-3rd, Alicia Kleman 5th, Emily Soster and Sarah Wisniewski
100 Breaststroke-3rd Shannon Heasley
400 Free Relay 2nd- Kirstin Stark, Katelyn Jones, Annie Pennington, and Julia Ferriera

SMISL Relay
Bedford competed in our first SMISL Relay meet today.
It was a great experience and we were blessed with a runner-up trophy.
This is our first ever trophy!!!
The meet was close all the way through the meet, but came down to the last event. Going into the last event, Tecumseh had a solid lead, and we were 2 points down to Milan. Milan won the relay, but our A relay finished 2nd and our B finished 6th which scored us higher than Milan's B team.
Bottomline, we continuously had more depth today.
Todays' victory over Milan belongs to our B relays who held their own.
The girls just really swam well today. We had many seasonal bests for splits today. I could not be happier.
Here are the final results of the meet.
