Savanna Biggs was selected DIVISION 1 ALL-STATE TEAM for the Fall Season and Savanna's senior year!
All-State is a very objective selection process conducted by MIGCA (Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association). 9 hole and 18 hole scores, as well as Regional and State Tournament scores, are submitted to the state and individuals from each division are selected to an ALL-STATE 1st Team or ALL-STATE HONORABLE MENTION. Savanna was selected ALL-STATE HONORABLE MENTION last spring and this fall ALL-STATE 1st TEAM!!! Congratulations Savanna!!
Last spring Savanna Biggs and Sara Porter were both selected ALL-STATE HONORABLE MENTION. Both girls will be honored at the ALL-STATE BANQUET on November 18th at Eagle Eye Golf Club.

Congratulations to our Varsity Lady Golfers!!? yesterday they did a terrific job placing FIRST at their Regional Tournament at Giant Oak Golf Course.? They shot a phenomenal team total of 353 in the freezing raing and harsh blowing wind.? Savanna Biggs lead the team and shot a 79 (placing 2nd overall), Sara Porter shot an 85, Becca Porter shot a 93, Sarah Glick shot a 96 and Hannah Zebarah and alternate, Kiersten Wells will be participating in the STATE FINALS next weekend at Grand Valley State's Golf Course, The Meadows in Grand Rapids!!? This will be Bedford's 4th year in a row to reach the state level and the 1st time to WIN REGIONALS!!!!

Traverse City Central Golf Invitational
Bedford Varsity Lady Golfers competed in the Traverse City Central Golf Invitational on August 29 & 30.? This was a two day event played at the Grand Traverse Resort on the Wolverine Course and Spruce Run Golf Course.? 34 Division 1, 2 and 3 schools competed and Bedford finished 8th in Division 1 and 13th overall.? This was an AWESOME event for our Lady Mules!? Scores were high but the courses were hard!? The 1st score is Spruce Run and the 2nd The Wolverine.

Dispite placing 12th out of 19 teams, Bedford's team total was an impressive 378 lead by Savanna Biggs 89, Sara Porter 90, Becca Porter 96, Hannah Zebarah 103 and good scores from Sarah Glick 107 and Kiresten Wells 108.

10-1-07 SEC Championships - SEC LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
Bedford Lady Golfers had avery interesting day at the POST SEC TOURNAMENT. 18 holes played at Leslie Park Golf Course in Ann Arbor. This was the final league match and for the 1st time in our Ladies Golf History, the Bedford Kicking Mules are SEC LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!!! Bedford shot a team total 371 at the league final which was good enough to take the top honors in the RED DIVISION. Saline placed 2nd, Ann Arbor Pioneer placed third and Ann Arbor Huron placed 4th. Low scores came from Savanna Biggs 87, Becca Porter 91, Sara Porter 94, Sarah Glick 99, Hannah Zebarah 99 and Kiersten Wells 101. The conditions were horrible with rain most of the day and the tempeture dropping by the hour.
Also, individual honors were given out as Savanna Biggs and Becca Porter both were named to the ALL CONFERENCE TEAM with the lowest strokes over par average throughout the year!!
