SEC Jamboree @ Chelsea
Bedford Girls Cross Country team placed 5th in yesterday's SEC meet. Kate Calhoun was Bedford's top scorer finishing 10th. Rachel Mayer, Kallie Johnston and Heather Hiszak ran well to also place for the Mules. In the JV race, Chelsea Velich and Amanda Zittleman were the top performers.

MSU Invitational
The Bedford Girls Cross Country had an outstanding performance at the Spartan Invitational. The girls placed 5th out of 39 teams in the Division 1 Varisty race. Kate "Calves" Calhoun took home hardware as she finished 15th overall in a time of 20 minutes flat. The Mule pack of Rachel Mayer, Aloiya Earl, Kallie Johnston and Heather Hiszak cruised together to place in the top 70.

SEC Jamboree #2
The Bedford Girls Cross Country team finished 4th in the Jamboree #2.? Saline won with 18 points, followed by Ann Arbor Huron 45 points, Ann Arbor Pioneer 75pts., and Beford scored 90 points.? Kate Calhoun finished 6th overall on a challenging Saline course.? Kallie Johnston was Bedfords #2 runner in an impressive time. Rachel Mayer moved up throughout the race to finish 19th overall and Kaylee Kreger had an outstanding race to finish as Bedford's #4 runner and 23 overall.?Heather Hiszak was right behind Kreger to place 24th.? The girls race this Saturday at the Portage Invitational.

Portage Invitational
The Bedford girl's cross country team placed 17th out of 38 teams at the Portage Invitational. Running a hot race and earning the 50th place medal was Kate Calhoun. Aloiya Earl, making her comeback, ran an impressive race to finish as Bedford's #2 runner. Heather Hiszak continued to race smart and tough while Kaylee Kreger moved up a notch to prove she belongs in Bedford's top 5. Freshman sensations Rachel Mayer and Kallie Johnston continue to race strong and be an important part of this outstanding team.

Jamboree #3
The girls cross country team finished 4th in the Jamboree yesterday at Hudson Mills. Kate Calhoun continued to be the #1 runner for Bedford as she finished 9th in 20:13. Aloiya Earl raced tough and placed 17th overall in a time of 20:49. Rachel Mayer is back to racing strong finishing 18th, while Kallie Johnston placed 21st and is now ready to break into the 20's. Heather Hiszak and Errinn Calhoun both had good races for the Kicking Mules. The girls race next Saturday in the Regional Championship. Good Luck
